London

I've visited London quite a few times. I've made some friends there so now it's even more pleasant to visit this city.
London is filled with museums, most of them free I might add, and there is always something to do. Obviously The British Museum and the Photographer's gallery are my favorites. But I can also recommend the tiny Sherlock Holmes' museum, National portrait gallery and Natural History museum.
It's a wonderful city for shoppers, history enthusiasts, club goers  - well, it offers a lot for anyone to be honest. Except if you hate crowded places. There are a lot of people in London and if you are looking for a more calmer place to visit, London may not be for you.
If you are a first timer in London one weekend will not be enough for you to explore everything. So my tips for you would be Portobello Road (especially during summer), Covent Garden and Camden market. Also if you are visiting London during summer you must take a moment to enjoy a walk in Hyde Park/Kensington gardens. Map
London is easy to explore, the tube will get you from one place to another fairly quickly, but as someone who enjoys to walk everywhere I suggest to pack a pair of really comfortable shoes and just stroll around. You'll never know what you'll find!
Here are some photos from one summer trip and one trip during New Year's Eve. I hope you enjoy. :)

Big Ben and the Parliament

Swans at the park :)

Saw some American students performing at Trafalgar square

Big bird... :D

You'll need tickets during NYE in London in order to enter certain areas and see the fireworks so get yours EARLY. They will sell out. Ours cost £10 each.

Unfortunately one of my favorite restaurants is or has already closed its doors :( They had the best food ever!

One of the coolest stores ever.

I loved those plates and tiles!

Awesome museum/gallery to see. I love it.

Xmas lights were still up.

Go see Watson.

The trees on the embankment were a bit unfortunate but the atmosphere was awesome!

Jump and touch the sky,
